Botanical Daydream – Original Contemporary Abstract Painting

Botanical Daydream is a joyful explosion of colour, shape and imagination — an imaginary garden where flowers, seed heads and leaves dance amongst vibrant layers of acrylic paint.

A joyful burst of colour inspired by the beauty of an imaginary garden

Bring a little sunshine into your home with Botanical Daydream an original acrylic abstract painting bursting with vibrant colour, playful shapes and whimsical botanical forms.

Inspired by the feeling of wandering through a colourful, slightly magical garden, this contemporary piece combines bold strokes of turquoise, pink, coral, orange, yellow, green and blue, with stylised flowers, stems, seed heads and leaves.

Rather than depicting a traditional garden, the painting invites you to imagine your own. Look closely and you'll discover little flowers, curious seed heads and organic shapes appearing amongst the layers of colour.

The strong vertical elements give the painting a wonderful sense of movement, while the hand-drawn botanical details add character and a touch of whimsy.

This is original artwork, painted by Maureen Chaloner, and is not a print or reproduction. Its cheerful palette would work particularly well in a contemporary home, colourful kitchen, hallway, bedroom, garden room or creative workspace.

A little piece of happiness for your wall

If you love artwork that makes you smile rather than simply matching the furniture, Botanical Daydream  could be just the piece for you.

It is bright, expressive and unapologetically cheerful — a little reminder that gardens don't always have to be realistic to make us feel good.

Original art. Lots of colour. A little bit of imagination.
