Original Watercolour & Ink Painting by Maureen Chaloner

Three stylish friends stand together, each with her own personality, while a curious little black cat quietly steals the scene. Full of character, gentle humour and vibrant colour, this whimsical painting celebrates friendship, individuality and those special moments shared over coffee, lunch and laughter.

Handbags in hand and smiles on their faces, while their curious feline companion waits patiently beside them, this painting is filled with playful expression, bright colours, and whimsical charm. This delightful painting celebrates friendship, shared adventures, and the joy of spending time together.

Part of my Ladies That Lunch series, Shopping with Friends captures the laughter, conversations, and little moments that make lasting memories. The expressive figures and cheerful palette create a light-hearted artwork that brings warmth and personality to any room.

Perfect for those who love feminine art, fashion-inspired décor, or unique original paintings that tell a story.

Lovingly hand-painted in watercolour and ink, every piece in the Ladies That Lunch collection is an original artwork — no two are ever exactly alike.
