Set of Three Abstract Poppies

Bold, beautiful and utterly captivating — the poppy has long been one of nature's most striking flowers, and in this original watercolour painting, Maureen Chaloner captures its spirit in the most joyful and expressive way.

Three poppies burst across the page in a riot of colour — rich reds, soft corals, warm oranges and touches of inky black — their petals loose and flowing, their stems curving with natural elegance. Painted in a loose, expressive style, this is not a botanical study but a celebration: of colour, of life, of the simple pleasure of a flower in full bloom.

Painted with confident, expressive brushwork and enhanced with delicate ink detailing, this artwork has an energy and vitality that makes it a natural focal point in any room. The painterly, abstract quality of the composition means it works beautifully in both contemporary and traditional interiors.

Perfect for living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, bedrooms and creative spaces. It also makes a stunning gift for flower lovers, art collectors and anyone who appreciates bold, original artwork with real personality.
